Wedding Photography Sneak Peek – Holy Cross Church Binsted, Hampshire

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Matthew’s wedding in Holy Cross Church in the lovely village of Binsted near Alton, Hampshire. Weather forecast was a another mixed one and a fairly blustery day too. The reception was to be held a good few miles from here at the stunning National Trust location of Clandon Park in West Clandon near Guildford, Surrey.

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Bailey, here is a quick sneak peek from their wedding day and more will follow soon. These are just a couple of sneak peeks from the day, you sometimes just can’t beat that first glance between a bride and groom on their wedding day, enjoy!

Wedding Photography – St James Church Rowledge – Lis & Dorian’s Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Lis and Dorian’s wedding at St James Church in the tranquil village of Rowledge near Farnham, Surrey. The weather forecast was a another mixed one and a wedding where I hadn’t met the bride beforehand. Lis looked amazing as she was driven to the church in a friend of the families car. We were fairly lucky with the weather and only got caught out a couple of times from brief rain interludes. The reception was held in a marquee literally just down the road in a private house where many had helped to create an amazing day the for the bride and groom. All hands to the deck!

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Gerhold, hope you had a lovely honeymoon and here are some images from their wedding day. I’m pretty sure everyone will have enjoyed themselves for the rest of the evening too. These are some of my favourite images from their wedding day, enjoy!

Review – Frensham Ponds Hotel Wedding Photographer

Just received a lovely review from a couples wedding that I photographed last year:

‘We were so pleased we chose Simon to be our wedding photographer. He was helpful and accommodating from start to finish. On the day of the wedding he kept a low profile and made suggestions as to what would make good photos. We were really impressed with the final results and the album is beautiful. We would recommend Simon to anyone. Thank you! Alf and Keri’

This review was posted online in the Qype business directory and also on the FreeIndex business directory.

Wedding Photography – Frensham Ponds Hotel Wedding Photographer – Keri and Alf

Just over a week ago I had the pleasure of photographing Keri and Alf’s wedding in St Andrews Church in the tranquil market town of Farnham. The reception was to be held just a couple of miles away at the Frensham Ponds Hotel right on the edge of the larger Frensham Pond in Surrey.

Keri got ready at home with the help of her Mum, Dad, bridesmaids, hair and makeup professionals before being taken to the church with her Dad in a classic cream and black Rolls Royce. It was a stunning day for their wedding considering the weather to date. An umbrella was needed on arrival at the reception venue, but generally it was a glorious sunny evening and enjoyed by all in attendence.

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Sandvik and may you have a happy and healthy life together. Below are some of my favourite images from their wedding day.

Wedding Photography – Nurscombe Farm Wedding Photographer Testimonial

Just received a lovely new review via my Qype directory listing from a couple who got married last year, they wrote:

We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos and the final wedding album, which captures our big day perfectly.  All the photos were very natural, which is just what we wanted, and we hardly noticed that Simon was there with us!  It was reassuring that Simon was always available for any questions we had before our big day, and was very quick to provide us with a fantastic gallery of our wedding photos within a week or so of the wedding. Highly recommended!

And here is my favourite photo from their day last year:

Surrey Wedding Photography – Wotton House Wedding Photographer

At the start of March I had the pleasure of photographing Sobana and Mark’s wedding at Wotton House, Dorking set in 13 acres of the Surrey countryside. Sobana got ready in one of the hotel rooms while sipping on Champagne with her two bridesmaids, Sobana looked stunning. Even though it was a glorious sunny day outside, it would have been very risky to get married outside in the private walled gardens of this venue at this time of year.

Sobana and Mark had decided to marry in the delightful vaulted ceiling, chapel style library. Sobana and Mark were married in the chapel witnessed by family and friends by 14.30, congratulations again to Mr & Mrs Battison.

The newlyweds, families, wedding party and friends then all made their way outside for a champagne reception, canapes and to enjoy the early spring sunshine. There was also a chance to get some large group photographs around the pond and in front of the large roman style temple. The wedding reception, speeches, first dance and evening celebrations were all held in one of the banqueting rooms of the hotel and no doubt in to the early hours of Sunday morning.

These are some of my favourite photos from the day and please feel free to leave any comments below:
