Hampshire Wedding Photography – Cain Manor

Congratulations to Lauren & Dan Marriott, married on Saturday 02nd October, 2010. Lauren got ready at her parents house and was transported with her father to St. Mary’s Church in Upton Grey in a classic 1925 Oakland wedding car. After the wedding ceremony, the whole wedding party made their way to the stunning Cain Manor venue set overlooking the Hampshire countryside.

Unfortunately the weather and some local road closures meant a wetter and slightly more cross country route to Cain Manor. However, everyone arrived safely, although in a more staggered time frame. We also managed to get outside for a few photos in between down pours, a fun day was had by all.

“Simon was the best supplier that we had for our wedding. His service throughout the process was wonderful, and the end result was better than we ever expected. On the day he was supportive and unobtrusive, resulting in natural and beautiful photographs. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough” ~ Lauren & Dan

Linda & Jelte’s Wedding at Cain Manor, Hampshire

It was a great privilege to shoot Linda and Jelte’s wedding at Cain Manor in Hampshire early in March. Family and friends gathered from many countries to witness Linda and Jelte’s wedding at the stunning Cain Manor venue set overlooking the beautiful Hampshire countryside. The forecast was a little tentative leading up to the day, but it remained a dry sunny day with a slight cool breeze as you might expect at that time of year.

A fairly challenging venue to shoot with all varying degrees of available light, but one where my Canon EOS 5D MkII and pro series lenses really helped. Lenses used: EF 50mm f1.4 USM and EF 24-70mm f2.8L USM.
