County Club Wedding Photographer – Viola & Thomas’s Wedding

Just over a week ago I had the pleasure of photographing Viola and Thomas’s wedding at Christ’s Church Guildford. The reception afterwards was held at The County Club in Guildford, Surrey. Unfortunately the weather was completely against us on the day with torential down pours creating flash flooding leading up to the wedding!

Viola arrived at the church with her sister in a lovely pale blue Rolls Royce, but had to remain in the car to wait for a potential break in the clouds. Viola looked unfazed by the weather as she arrived inside the church under an umbrella and looked truly amazing. I’m pretty certain the celebrations went on late in to the night too…

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Whittaker, here are some more photos from their wedding day, enjoy!

“Thank you so much for these. I love all of them they are even better than I could have hoped for. The house is going to be filled with our wedding pictures! Thank you so so so much from the bottom of our hearts”.

Wedding Photography Sneak Peek – County Club Guildford

Just over a week ago I had the pleasure of photographing Viola and Thomas’s wedding at Christ’s Church and the reception at The County Club in Guildford, Surrey. Unfortunately the weather was completely against us on the day with torential down pours creating flash flooding leading up to the wedding, even preventing Viola from getting out of the wedding car for a while!

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Whittaker, hope you had a lovely honeymoon too…

I have picked out these two photos from their day as they really reflect the anticipation of Viola arriving in the church and returning from a quick visit to Castle Grounds in between rain showers. A few more photos from their day will be posted later this week, enjoy for now…

Great Fosters Wedding Photographer – Emma & Simon’s Wedding

Just a couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Simon’s wedding at Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey. Great Fosters is a stunning hotel in near Windsor, Surrey and has a truly remarkable heritage. It was possibly built as a royal hunting lodge in 1550 and possesses a plethora of original details and features including mullioned windows, Jacobean fireplaces, a rare oakwell staircase, authentic tapestries and moulded ceilings.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Great Fosters, it was a typical May weekend, mixed weather and unfortunately it rained just as the bride needed to make her way from her room to the ceremony. Umbrellas certainly add a certain amount of drama to a wet wedding day! Emma was truly taken back by the occasion as she saw her Groom for the first time that day and was overcome with emotion. Emma and Simon were married by 15.30, at which point the skies cleared and the sun came out, superb timing!

As the sun beamed, it allowed us to get outside in to the gardens including the famous bridge covered in wisteria over the pond, the amazing lawns and topiary gardens, an amazing setting for a wedding day. The bridal party then went inside to their beautifully decorated and intimate oak beamed room for their wedding breakfast.

I’m pretty certain the celebrations would have gone on late in to the night!! Congratulations again Mr & Mrs Crawt, and at the request of the newlyweds I have agreed to show just a couple of photos from their wedding day, enjoy.

Wedding Photography Client USB Memory Sticks

This year I decided to ditch supplying discs of images to clients due to the time it takes to prepare the files, burn the disc, print on to the disc and then supply them in a suitable and presentable box/ container. I finally took the plunge, transferred my logo, relevant design and had some specific branded USB memory sticks made.

As you can see from the photos of them below, they are now supplied in a lovely printed and sturdy box. This is kept closed by a small magnet on the front of the box and opens up to reveal the branded USB stick inside. I choose the bamboo swivel type of USB stick as they look neat and classy. The smooth swivel action keeps the USB head and working parts protected from general knocks and dust.

These were supplied by USB2U, great service, advice and fast delivery, highly recommend them.
